Getting the right fit is essential to enjoying your jewelry to its fullest potential. In this guide, we will teach you the best methods to get the best fit.

Rings

There are a few methods to measure your ring size. Generally, we would recommend to wear rings slightly tighter to prevent them from slipping out.

Paper/String Method

The most accurate way to measure your ring size without any professional tools will be to use a string or paper to measure.

Step 1: Cut a small strip of paper, preferably the same width as the ring you intend to get. Make sure the size of the strip is uniform.

Step 2: Wrap the piece of paper around the finger you want to wear it on. Make sure that the strip of paper wraps around your finger and that there are no gaps. Do not wrap too tightly as well. Mark with a pen where the pieces meet.

Step 3: Measure the strip against a ruler in terms of millimeters. E.g. 6.2 cm will be 62 mm. This is the circumference of your finger and also the size that we most commonly use.

Online Template

Another easy way to measure if you currently have a ring of the same size is to use an online template to measure.

Put your ring on top of the screen and make sure the inner diameter aligns with the circle.

Bracelets

Different type of bracelets wear differently as well. Bangles will need more allowance compared to flexible chain bracelets.

Paper method

Similar to the rings, we can also use a strip of paper to measure your wrist size.

Step 1: Cut a strip of paper, preferably with the same width as your bracelet you are intending to get. Wrap the bracelet around your wrist area just below the wrist bone. Make sure that there are no gaps and that it is not too tight

Step 2: Measure the strip of paper against the ruler. This will be your true wrist size. How the bracelet wears depends on the time of fit that you like.

Fitting: +1 cm

Looser fit: +1.5 cm

Loose fit: +2 cm

Note: You can also use a measuring tape to make things even easier. If you have a flexible bracelet, you can also lay it out straight and measure it against a ruler.

Necklaces

Necklaces do not really need to be measured, but it is just for your own preference on how long you would like the pendant to hang. Different people also have different neck sizes.

String Method

Step 1: Cut a piece of thick string to the desired length you wish your necklace to be.

Step 2: Pull down slightly to simulate the pendant and adjust the length of the string according to your preference.

We hope that this guide helps you get the perfect fit. It is also a good idea to use a combination of methods to confirm your sizing. While we are able to re-size, it is always better to get the right fit from the start.
